The KFW3 series air circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as “circuit breaker”) is designed for AC 50Hz/60Hz power distribution networks, with a rated current range from 200A to 8000A and rated working voltages covering AC230V, AC400V, AC500V, AC690V, AC800V, and AC1000/1140V. Primarily used for electrical energy distribution, it delivers full protection for circuits and power equipment against common faults including overload, undervoltage, short circuit and single-phase grounding faults, and also integrates reliable circuit isolation functionality to meet routine maintenance and safety operation needs.

This circuit breaker can be fitted with a variety of intelligent controllers for comprehensive protection capabilities. Among them, the communication-enabled controller is built with standard communication interfaces, allowing seamless access to field buses. It integrates all four remote functions, i.e. telemetry, remote adjustment, remote control, and remote signaling, thereby fully addressing the automated control and intelligent operational requirements of modern mid-to-high-end power distribution systems.

Furthermore, the product features high-precision selective protection, which, by isolating non-critical local faults with precision, prevents cascading outages and significantly improves power supply reliability and operational safety throughout the power distribution system.

User-Friendly Design & Flexible Configuration Options: Available in drawer-type and fixed-type installations, the KFW3 series circuit breaker adapts to different power distribution cabinet layouts, with reversible top or bottom cable entry. The auxiliary circuit accommodates up to 10 independent normally open contacts and 10 independent normally closed contacts, with optional three-position contacts and ready-to-close contacts available for customized configuration. For enhanced operational security, optional internal temperature measurement and protection functions can be integrated to monitor the operating status of key components in real time and prevent potential failures caused by abnormal temperature rise. Additionally, an optional zone selective interlocking (ZSI) function ensures full selectivity across all protection levels, further optimizing system stability and fault handling accuracy.

Real-Time Parameter Recording Function
When the circuit breaker is in the closed state, it records current operating parameters every 15 minutes. The stored information can be read via a dedicated program and device from the programming port and queried using specialized software installed on a computer;
